We had dinner at Toga's a couple of weeks ago, and let me just say this: FABULOUS!
It's a small, intimate restaurant, situated in an older house, converted to a cozy restaurant, located at 122 W Lauridsen Blvd. Reservations highly recommended 360-452-1952.
So, here's the scoop:
I had the halibut with rice pilaf, and the veggies, which were sauted carrots and celery, were unbelievable! I'm not joking, we're talking REALLY good.
The wine list is also good; we had a cabernet that was around $40. (Can't remember the name of the wine - sorry, salad). That's a Jim Gaffigan joke... anywho...
We also got to go back into the kitchen and had the privilege of meeting Chef Toga towards the end of the evening. He's young and energetic, and his enthusiasm is contagious. He's really cute too! (His wife works there as well, and I'm sure she knows this already, and I say good for her!) :)
This is one of the best in the area, a definite destination not to be missed.
Call now for reservations!
Have fun,
Marti :)
